King Township Sign Bylaws
A two week permit is $50.
A one month permit is $100.
A business can have up to 30 days of signage per year. There is also a $200 deposit. Aurora
Mobile Sign will cover the deposit for the customer.
A sign may not be larger than 4' x 8' and may only have non-flourescent letters. White is strongly
recommended. There is no third party placed signs in King Township.

Businesses can have 2 (3 week permits) or 3 (2 week permits per calendar year. Each permit has to
be at separated by at least 90 days. No signs are to be in the "Heritage District" (Main Street).
Signs can be up to 6' x 8', and can only be black with white lettering. Logos, graphics and numbers
can be multicoloured. Lit and flashing signs are prohibited. Community centres, churched and synagogues that have
changeable pre-existing pylon (permanent signs), cannot have mobile signs. No exceptions.

A 21 day permit is $75.
A very detailed letter of permission and a site plan are required to obtain permit. Signs up
to 6' x 8' are allowed and multicoloured signs are now prohibited. Permits can be obtained in advance.

Newmarket Sign Bylaws
21 day permits are $80.
A business can have up to 3 (21 day permits) per year. They must be at least separated by 45 days
in between each permit.
Signs may not exceed 4' x 8'. The signs must be black with white lettering only. Multicoloured,
lit and flashing signs are prohibited.
A letter of permission and a site plan is required to obtain permits. Permits can be obtained in advance.
Third party placement of mobile signs is prohibited.
Special permission for non-charitable events can be obtained through council meetings. A written letter
is required.

Pickering Sign Bylaws
A three month permit is $150. Up to three permits can be obtained per year. Only one sign at
a time can be on the same property.
Up to 6' x 8' signs are allowed and multicoloured signs are allowed. Third party placements are allowed
on condition of a letter of permission from the landlord or property management of the property.

Richmond Hill Sign Bylaws
45 day permits are $100.
A business can have up to three 45 day permits per year. There must be atleast 60 days off in between
each permit. Mobile signs can be up to 6' x 8' and multicoloured. Only one mobile sign at a time can be on the
same property. Third party placements are allowed as long as the applicant is addressed to the same address as the advertising
signage. The name of the applicant must appear somewhere on the sign.
Applicant must provide a currently dated letter of permission from the landlord. Permits can only
be obtained the day of sign placement.

Toronto Sign Bylaws
Businesses can have a mobile sign permit three times a year with at least 30 off in between each permit.
The fee for the permit is ??? and can be obtained at 850 Coxwell Avenue in Toronto. All mobile signs must be black and
white only. Churches and synagogues are exempt from the permit but must still follow the rules when it comes to the
colour of the signs.

Vaughan Sign Bylaws
Two week permit is $37.50.
One month permit is $75.
Businesses can have up to 2 permits per calendar year or up to 2 months per calendar year.
If a business obtains a two week permit, they cannot adjust it to a one month permit. Each permit
must be separated by at least a one month period. Only one sign can be on the same property at a time. A blackout
period of at least 30 days must be adhered to for the whole entire property, no matter how many units are at that address.
Example: If unit 1 in January has a sign for one month, the next permit for the property cannot commence
for at least 30 days, even though it is a different business.
Signs up to 6' x 8' are allowed. Multicoloured signs are not allowed. Colours are not restricted,
but the sign cannot have more than one colour on it at any one time.
